Joe took this when I was just out of surgery apparently. I had the cataract removed from my right eye on Monday. It went really well and I LOVE SEEING out of that EYE AGAIN! I am so glad I live in a time where that is possible! Joe remembered to ask about my push ups, they told me not to do them for a couple of days but I did them from the wall very carefully that night and then like normal the rest of the week. Dr. Sykes asked me when I came to my follow up the next day if I was the one that asked about push ups. I said yes, and he asked me a few questions about it. He was mission president in Angola, right above Namibia while Brigham was there. He knew Pres and Sis Walker.
On Tuesday we had Marjorie's appointment with Dr. Turtle, my follow up and Frannie's consultation with Dr. Carr for braces.
Marjorie needs back surgery, we are doing the fusion of T1-T12 instead of the removal of the messed up vertebrae. It is scheduled for October 8th. She will be in the hospital for 3 days and then miss school for a month. It shouldn't limit her mobility much at all. I do need to ask about what happens when she grows out of the hardware or if she will. Josh had a brother that was in a lot of pain when he was an adult from a similar surgery.
Frannie needs braces to make room for a couple more teeth. She gets them on July 21st. Dr. Carr's night at the Aquatic Center was Tuesday night, so I took the kids for swimming and pizza. I was grateful for the tender mercy on the timing. I was hoping we hadn't missed it, we went last year too.
I had fun making another collage, it's been a while. I will have to do a graduation one too before too long. I need to add Madi to this as well.
Iva, Brady's girlfriend, did the girls nails before Sarah left for South Carolina. She did such a great job!
The girls designed their own and showed her pictures I think.
Paula Brockman and I. I don't have access to any of Joe and I's pictures, only what I could find on facebook.

On Thursday, we dropped Sarah off to go to Myrtle Beach with Legacy 22 for a softball tournament/vacation. She is with her team, having a good time. She has played really well. They have won twice and tied at 0 for their pool play. Marjorie and Heber also left Thursday morning for Youth Conference. Joe went to St. George to pick up a car that James and Monte are done with. So it was just Frannie and me. So weird. We didn't get to play much. We had art class, the primary carnival--where I painted faces for 2 hours straight. I didn't get to take any fun pics of Frannie in the foam machine because we were SO BUSY. My presidency were great sports, we just got assigned to do face painting because they knew I was an artist. 2 of my counselors had never done it before, they were great! Then Friday morning we babysat for 3 hours. Fran was exhausted, she worked hard taking care of Miles. :)

I was cleared to exercise Thursday. So early Friday morning I did Malan's by myself as fast as I could. It was awesome and I loved it. I got to do it once each week of June.
Oh in between art class and carnival Fran was invited to swim with Sophia. So I walked her over to the Tuckers and talked to Valyn for probably an hour. Haha, no wonder I was exhausted Friday afternoon.
Sophia let Frannie try out her cool mermaid tail. It was awesome.
Our missionaries are doing well. It was fun to talk to both of them. Mary fly's out on Tuesday but doesn't go to her area until Thursday or Friday. She was told to pack a bag for a few days because she won't have access to her other luggage. Lucy only has one month left from Tuesday. Exciting! Spencer is doing well also, he has been to Fairbanks this week and got to oversee the pouring of the font in that temple on Friday. Brigham and Madi have been in St. George with the Sullivan's, they helped Joe load car at James' and went to dinner together down there. They get to go to Banff and Canada soon. Jealous! But so happy Brig gets to see it. I love that Demaris grew up in Cardston.
Frannie got her wish of being in a parade for softball already. The ALL STAR teams for West Haven got to be on a trailer yesterday. She was SO EXCITED. Thankfully Marjorie and Heber came home early from their camp (because of the wind/weather--its been crazy), so she had some siblings there.
The West Haven parade throws out more candy than all the other parades put together. I saw kids with HUGE bags full and an umbrella chuck full. Haha.
I got to walk with Mindi on Wednesday night during Fran's practice.
Marjorie and Fran actually played Barbie's again, that makes me happy. Kind of rare these days. I only have one pic so far from Sarah and one from Heber and Marjorie camping. I may be getting more this week. Sarah's team did post swimsuit pics from the beach but I don't think I will add them here. I am glad Sarah is modest and beautiful.
Heber and Cru, they slept in hammocks.
Sarah sent this of the beach the other night.
