School's out for Summer!

Mary did so well this year and maintained her 4.0! She is awesome!

My Mom had surgery on Monday to remove a tumor in her neck. They had to go in from the front and the back. It was a crazy surgery and it went extremely well. She was in pre-op and surgery for over 7 hours. I wasn't able to go down until after work on Monday but she hadn't been awake long when I got there so it worked out good. I got to spend a few hours with her on Monday night. She is in a lot of pain and eating is hard but the medicine is helpful and she is doing well. She came home on Thursday. They got as much of the tumor as they could, some is still attached to her spinal cord but they are pretty sure it is not cancerous so it shouldn't be dangerous to her. It is slow growing.

Marjorie's 6th grade graduation was Wednesday morning. She had a great year also and is ready for Jr High.

She loved having Mrs. Drake. Mrs. Coats and Mrs. Nelson were awesome as well and she had them for science and math.

I should add all of these but there were a lot of them so I thought this would suffice. Frannie's scores were CRAZY high. Heber did great too!

Sarah also maintains her 4.0 GPA. She had a fun year and has lots of friends, boys and girls.

Spencer came up yesterday and stayed until tonight.  He did some work on his car. The kids kept him busy. We got to go to the temple yesterday and play kickball and visit the cemetary's today.

Friday was our last day at school. My main boss came and thanked me for staying through this year and gave me encouragement for the next year.

We had a pretty good last week all things considering. Grateful to have this part behind me.

Sarah has lost 20 lbs. this year, she is working extremely hard.

We are thankful it is summer and look forward to the change. Grateful Mom's surgery was so successful and pray she recovers really well.

Brigham and Madi are headed on a Church History trip with Madi's family. Brigham's work is going well and he is happy with the change in companies.

Lucy is doing well and loving her mission.

Ogden Half/Marjorie's play

we have the pad for the shop!! It's all poured now.

Marjorie got to be in 2 of her 6th grade skits, she did a fantastic job!!!

Heber, Frannie and I got to go to a Mother's Day dinner for activity days. It was so fun!

Kylee and Sophia on the right, are our cousins! Her great grandpa is uncle Chuck (pretty sure), Charles-- Granny's brother. So fun, her mom is Jennifer Porter.

So fun running into Mindy Suttlemyre and her daughter Brooklyn at the starting line. She broke her leg so bad less than a year ago.

I did really great through mile 9 and then I hit the dreaded "wall". The last 3 miles were horrible. But the weather was amazing and the views incredible. I knew it wasn't going to be super awesome because my training hasn't been great. My mom was awesome to come pick me up at 4:40 AM, since Joe was busy with Sarah's tournament in Salt Lake.
Mom was at the finish line too, Joe and youngest 4 were there too but I couldn't see them. It was very crowded! It was a good experience overall.

I saw a friend from Spanish Fork at the end right before I saw my Mom, but she didn't see me. When I told her I waved at her she looked at her camera and saw me. Haha!

Sarah played 5 games yesterday, the took 2nd in the silver bracket. Joe and Spencer were there all day! She played awesome, had lots of great hits, and played great.

Frannie and Heber made me multiple cards. All of them gave me a card or text. So grateful to be a Mom. Joe gave me flowers and perfume. I'm so thankful for my Mom, Grandmother's, sisters, in laws. I am very blessed.

Sawyer and Elle had sweet baby Lottie on Thursday, Spencer got to hold her for a couple of hours.

Brig and Madi got to go to Disneyland last week, they took this picture in memory of Connon because he had several like this with Toni.

They had a long night getting her here but they are all doing great!
