Happy 2nd Birthday Mary!!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Mary girl! We love you so much! You are such a great part of our family. We love your wonderful personality and sweet smile!

We did a chocolate peanut butter treat because of all the "cakes" lately. I made 3 yesterday for the Baptism Preview we had today.

Loved opening gifts, not that she got to do it by herself! :)

Lucy not cooperating. Eating at Babe's.

Happy threesome!
Mary wouldn't wear the hat but the kids had a great time watching the drama.

They moved it to Brigham's head since Mary wouldn't wear it.

Lucy showing the dolls she and Mary got for their birthdays.

One of the cakes for today.

A sign I made for the boy's room but I think I may hang in our family room for a while.

So much going on when a new year starts. I have been so busy with Primary. I am grateful for my wonderful Family and great friends. The Pinewood Derby is on Tuesday! So more to come soon...

Sisters!

Now Lucy has Mary "loving" her dress as well. They are so cute. It is so fun to see sisters play together. Brothers too. And brothers and sisters.

Spencer's Volcano

Spencer and Daddy with the finished project. They had fun making this with water, flour, glue, paper, paint, etc.

The back side.

Good job Spencer! His report went well he said.

Photoshoot with the girls--sorta!

Lucy in her other dress that is acceptable as long as the sweater is worn over it.

Mary posing after watching her sister. She's a hoot. She is already trying to potty train!!! YEAH! She turns 2 next week.

We couldn't get a good one. Oh well. :)

Happy 7th Birthday Brigham!

Brigham had a great day yesterday! Started out with a Scavenger hunt to find his present. It went so well last week we tried it again only the clues were part of his card. Spencer and I had a fun time doing it. They were hilarious and Spencer could barely contain himself helping him find the clues!

Opening a DS game! We headed to McDonald's play place for lunch (his choice). Then came home to get dinner ready for friends that were coming over.

He wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on his cake, not the easiest thing in the world to draw with frosting. :)

The Gardeners joined us for dinner and then the Simonsen's joined all of us for cake and ice cream. They are both great families, we had a wonderful time!

Brigham you are a wonderful boy! We love you so much! Thank you for being so sweet!

FHE/random

We did a scavenger hunt last Monday for FHE. The kids LOVED it, they thought it was the greatest thing ever. :)

It was a crazy week after that. Joe was out of town from Wed. night til last night. Although things went pretty okay--I am so thankful for him. He is a great husband and father and I am grateful for all that he does.

Boys are proving to be just as emotional as any girl I know--hopefully I don't eat those words later. All I can say is there have been several meltdown's this week. :)

Tomorrow starts the crazy birthdayness for our family. Fun Fun!!!

On another note I am surprised at how much I have read the word "anxiety" in the scriptures lately. I think I didn't realize that everyone from the beginning of time has and does experience anxiety. It is a part of life, I guess the key is not to let it consume us.

Spencer

I cannot get my computer to read my SD card, I don't know what the deal is. So I guess I will just have to use my words. Sorry!!! Spencer got recognized at Dinobeat on Friday for 2 things. His teacher said he was the next "Picasso", that all the kids love to see what he is drawing and working on. He also got his 5 miler in Gym. Way to Go Spencer! Brigham would have had that too if they let 1st graders participate. He was a good sport though. Spencer brought home an assignment the other day that gave me a good laugh:

Home Sweet Home!

Well after a LOT of driving, puking, more driving, we eventually made it home on the 1st, late. So this is the 2nd, not too early because we threatened the kids and reminded them that they got their best presents in UT.

This pic is hideous but in fairness to Joe I decided to include it. I am sure he is excited to play it with me tonight for FHE.

He got a new carving knife. He is actually hoping he does not cut another part of his hand off. Please don't!!!

Lucy and her new stroller! IT is so cute I love it. The handle moves and so does the seat so it can be any kind of stroller she wants!

Brig pretty excited about his motorcycle and little man.

Spencer opening his nerf darts. They are all over the place already!
Mary got a huge set of Tinkertoys, but the pic wasn't good.
We are still cleaning, washing, healing--Joe has had a fever for 3 days--he is doing better now. So much Primary stuff--holy cow--I don't think I will be gone for 2 weeks at the end of the year again while being Primary President. Except for now I know all the things I could have done before. Oh well we are making it! Happy NEW YEAR!!! 2010--that is so weird!

The rest of our trip to UT--December 26-31st.

Lucy-n-Gpa snugglin' watching a movie.

Mary and Aunt Haylee

Lucy wearing my Mom's jacket that she wore when she was four.

The Five of us! We had a great time!

Gpa and Gma and all the grandkids!
Mary, Brigham, Brady, Jace, Spencer, Luke, Lucy, Maycee, Logan, Trevor.

Celebrating Mary, Lucy, Brigham's birthday's that are all coming up. AHHH!

We usually do this over Mother's day, but since I am not around they decided to brave the snow and do it while I was there. Thanks!!! I loved it!

Shawnette and I! Love you!

The four of us at breakfast! Shawnette, me, Stacie, Valaree.

Gpa Great's headstone.

Maycee and I.

They got to do this lots on this trip. They had a blast!

Gpa pulled them with his truck. Lucy preferred the back of the truck--it wasn't even in the 20's I don't think.

Playing the DS--wish it wasn't grainy--their faces were so cute.

Mary chillin' with the Vsmile.

Lucy in her new tights.

Thank you Mom and Dad for having us and giving us so much. We love and appreciate all of you! We are thankful we got to see all of you! Sorry to those we missed. Joe and I were lucky and got to go on several dates. We even made it to the temple in St. George and Ogden. We love you all!
