Throwback to 1999 or early 2000. Rachelle Wade, Andrea Wade, me, Heidi Stanger. Tomorrow will be 26 years since Joe proposed. I don't have the lovely picture from that night at the moment, it is in storage and it is terrible anyway. But this is around the same time.
We have something to pull all our trailers again. This was Josh Lynch's parents. His Dad recently passed away.
We also got this for Sarah, for $800. Joe has to fix a few things but it is a nice Honda Acura MDX.
Mrs. Harris nominated Sarah for her Student of the year. It is called Student of the month because they recognize kids each month but each teacher only gets to pick one student.
Hopefully you can read this letter. The video was kind of long, but she went on about how awesome Sarah is and how much she has had to do on her own this year in Honors Math. She loves how humble she is and how hard she works. She also helps others and always has a smile on her face. YAY Sarah!!
Joe put a couple cabinets in our hall going to our garage. :)
Another drawing for a student. This is his cat.
I was surprised at work on Friday when Leni Poll, Leighann Edwards, Heather Shepherd, Jared Abney, Quinn Karlinsky, Kristy Connell, and 2 others that I have seen at new teacher trainings but don't know their names, showed up to recognize me as a new teacher that they are proud of. They took a picture but I don't have it yet. I was embarrassed but thankful.
Heber got a Perry Platypus costume/Pajama outfit.
Yesterday Joe and Spencer got the lift working! Should be much easier to work on vehicles now. YAY!
Frannie had her first 2 kid pitch games yesterday. She played catcher for the 2nd game and did really well considering. It is hard to believe everyone starts out like this. Haha.
The 4 Graduating Seniors!
Mom and Dad spoiled us with a Delicious meal at Maddox yesterday for the 4 Seniors. This is the last time multiple grandchildren will be graduating together. We only have our 4 left, and in 9 years all of them will be graduated. That is FREAKY! Luke, Brady, Mary and Maycee have done some incredible things, they are all fantastic humans and they each have a BRIGHT future ahead. I am proud of each of them. We had a great time before heading to Frannie's games. Heber's soccer game was at 8:30 am and it was freezing. It was a busy week and weekend.
Today Joe and I sang at the Peach Tree (retirement home) Sacrament meeting after our church and we are headed to the Weber County Juvenile facility in a few minutes so Joe can speak there. I am so grateful things are going so well at school and work. Thankful for my grown boys who are doing good things. Thankful for Lucy and my nephews serving in the Mission field. Thankful for Mary, Brady and Luke getting ready to go serve. The kids are working hard on all their testing and doing good things at school. We are richly blessed and I love our life.
