This is the small group of 9th graders that have a 4.0 GPA cumulative leaving Jr High. Way to go Sarah!
Sarah enjoyed her freshman year on Westfield Softball team, they did well and she was a great runner in Varsity and played awesome in JV. Their record was 18-1 and their loss was vs Bear River who had a girl pitching for them that day that is signed with Texas.
I ran a relay race with the teachers at my school. We also had a fun kickball game against the 6th graders. Lacee Embleton, Kate Nelson, Shane Rasmussen.
Here is the award that Mr. Windsor forgot to give her at the final Band concert, Nice WORK Mary!
Sarah and Marjorie both participated in a very long assembly the 2nd to last day of school. Marjorie got to perform a number from her play and got a candy bar for 1st place in the art show.
The softball banquet was at Bella's the other night. It was fun listening to Mandy Koford, the coach, talk about all the girls. She had great things to say about Sarah being a hard worker, a fast runner (surprisingly), and a double play worker. She made the only double play in Varsity all season I believe.
Mary had her nail exam in Provo on Thursday, so she rode down with my parents on Wednesday night and stayed with Paisley. Then came home with my mom on Thursday night after Brady and Luke's game. It was a STRESSFUL-CLOSE game and so fun. They played Spanish Fork 3 times and every game was so close. Brady and Luke played awesome and it was fun Mary got to go. We cheered from here watching on the big screen. My parents had a crazy week going to graduations and lots of ballgames that were not close.
Mandy gave all the players one of these.
Sarah's teammate Kamryn Bell got her mission call to Madrid Spain.
With the chaos of the week I did not get last day pics of Sarah or Mary. It was NUTS to say the least. It was a great year though and we are so thankful for all of our many blessings. The kids did a great job learning and growing and accomplishing so much. We are so proud of all of them. Spencer told everyone about his new job opportunity. He has taken a job in ALASKA! He will be working on the Anchorage and Fairbanks Temples. He leaves in a week. AHH! He will be gone for 16 months or so. We are happy for him, although we will miss him like crazy. He is amazing and will keep doing awesome things. Madi and Brigham had a successful blitz in Oklahoma and they made it home in time to go to the temple with us yesterday.
