Randomness

We ran into our friend's at the zoo and she took these 2 pictures. Lucy, Spencer, friend, Julie, Colton.

Mary and I.
New haircut and Mary being silly.
The kids are out of school all week and today was the only day without rain in the forecast so we went to the zoo. It was awesome weather and not crowded. Very fun, didn't take the camera because it was me alone with all 5 and I didn't think I would be able to take pictures. But I should of taken it because I could have. Lucy posed for me several times out of habit AND it was overcast (the best for pictures!)! Oh well.
I tried to post a short clip from Brigham's football game but it wouldn't work. He was also selected for the Blue All-Star team which means he will play again on the 4th againest the Red All-star team. We had a really fun season, the coach is in our ward (attends our church) and he was awesome. There were 4 boys from our ward on the team, Hunter Probst, Ryker Mason, Ty Jarvis and Brigham.

Awesome Superbowl!
Just a few of cute Sarah...this is her game on pose!
Tried to get one of all five, now I remember why I had them lay down last time.
Spencer and Christian at Brig's game today.
It was so fun to have Amber's family here to watch the game. Amber was sick though so she didn't make it.
Naomi LOVES babies and she does a great job with them.
I missed the part where he gave his coach (Matt Mason) five. He did AWESOME!
After the WIN!!! 7 to 6 againest an undefeated team!!! So exciting...Brig played Quarterback and corner most of the game!
Senior Flag Football Champions! They got a statue of a football player and their "gold rings" are being ordered. Only in Texas...
I may post more later, baby crying, tooth (Lucy's nasty one) needs to be pulled, laundry needs to be folded, etc...
Way to go Brigham--we love you! Thanks Mom and Dad for the care package for the big game!

Bad Day at Pre-school
I got a phone call today during pre-school from my friend who was teaching today. We take turns doing it in our homes. She lives across the street from a great little park that happens to have this roller thing that spins as you walk/run on it. It is the only one we have ever seen (there are tons of parks here too) and now we know why. Lucy has always loved it, I am not sure she does now. It didn't phase her much though, she played all day with Taffy and was so wore out she actually took a nap. Her front tooth is really loose but she doesn't want to pull it. Poor thing.
She had a great time showing all her friends at pre-school the new puppy and letting all the kids pet it while we surprised Spencer and Brigham after school.
Even though I have cleaned up more messes than I want to think about--a good thing is that no one has bothered Sarah at all today!!! Taffy is so cute too and cries when Sarah does. Thankfully that wasn't very much today.

Another "new" addition
Got a picture finally. I like listening to them read every night. Now they have this little beauty laying by them.
This is Taffy.
Early Christmas present for Spencer boy. And Joe. :)
The six of them. Absolutely crazy! I say six including the dog only because Brigham in his prayer said thank you for our new sibling. Ha! Ha! They are as much work as one at least for this first while.
I love that Brigham takes such great pictures, I just wish he were in them too.
We are officially crazy. Go ahead, you can say it to my face, I will just laugh because I know it is true! Joe and I have been talking for some time about a dog. We tried having a puppy a couple months after Spencer was born and it was way too hard for me and way too expensive. We have been very busy for the last nine years but the topic had come up again. We have this little, well not so little anymore, boy that really really wanted a dog. So during the summer we let him take care of several. He loved it, especially if he didn't have to pick up their poop. Anyway, we got a phone call today from a good friend letting us know there was a blonde/brown cocker spaniel 5 month old girl (house trained) that needed a home. So here we go again....my boys (Joe too) better live up to their end of the bargain!!! She is cute and ironically enough her name is Taffy. The very name of the dog that used to sleep at the top of my pillow when I was a kid. Crazy. (I loved animals growing up especially dogs, for some reason I have very little interest in them at the moment.)
The Primary Program was today and it went Fabulous! So happy to be a part of Primary (the kids at church). Spencer and Brigham both did their parts very well and Lucy sang her little heart out. It was very fun to see. I got to sit on the front row and that was fun!
Also Brigham's football team is going to the Superbowl this Saturday. We actually have to pay to get in. Crazy Texas! It is fun though and he and Joe LOVE it. He is already asking for pads, I think so he can keep playing with his Dad every day in the back yard--well that and he really does love playing anything with a ball.
Wish me luck on this crazy adventure! :)

More pictures--5 weeks old
I am pretty sure she is our baldest baby yet, and I thought they were all bald, but not this bald! Her only hair is that cute red stuff at the back.
This is a good shot of the balding man hair look she has going on!
This is a good one to show the lack of even peach fuzz on top. So funny.
Sweet girls always wanting their picture taken.
I couldn't leave this one off. Mary is really in a gum phase--she has been for quite a while but it peaked with Gma and Gpa here. She went through way too many pieces/packs.
I haven't posted much about my cute boys. This is a nightly thing, Brig and Dad practicing football--for hours sometimes. Spencer and Dad have been reading together every night for quite some time now, I am going to get a pic of that too somehow but it is usually when I am holding a cute baby. ;)
Spencer has 27 AR (reading points earned by taking a quiz on the computer about certain books) points already. That is a lot for him. He and Joe have a huge goal for this year--they want 100--so we shall see.
