Last night was Spencer's musical. He did a great job!

We are proud of you Spencer. He isn't really into the singing/dancing thing, although he likes "break dancing". But he has been excited about this (the shirt) and did a really good job doing something that he doesn't like much. :)

Last of Birthdays for a while!

This is the inside of Spencer's Valentine card he made for me all by himself. His Aunt Angie taught him a while ago how to make pop-out cards and he loves to make them! So even though you can't tell very well the hearts both pop out. I have no idea how he came up with this.

My b-day was Sat. and Joe and I got to go on a big date to dinner, the temple, the running store, and Braum's for ice cream. THANK YOU Esther and Mindy for babysitting! I have great friends! My parents sent a fun package and I got lots of cards and email wishes. Plus for my running it was a recovery week so I only had a 10 miler and one of the young women in our ward ran it with me. It went by really fast and was really fun compared to the 17 miler. :)

Joe made me this for my b-day, the brownie had peanut butter and oreo's in it! YUM!
This next week is so crazy we all of the sudden have so much going on: soccer, Spencer's musical, dr. appt's., getting our TX licenses--whoops!, etc. etc. etc. Oh and I got a new calling yesterday. I am now the 2nd counselor in the Primary Pres. so I have meetings for that this week too. :) Thank you everyone for the cards, emails, and great wishes!

I am copying this from my sister, I wanted to do it for Valentine's but I was in the middle of making this a private blog so I waited.

1. Where did you meet your husband?

At FHE at Utah State, we were called as FHE Mom & Dad and that is when we met. He likes to tell others we wanted to magnify our callings. :)

2. How long did you date before you got married?

Well we met in September of '99 and were together a lot as friends for 6 months, started dating in March and were engaged the end of April, married in August 2000.

3. How long have you been married?

9 years in August... crazy, time flies!

4. What does he do that surprises you?
He is often surprising me in all sorts of unexpected ways! :) Usually he brings home flowers!

5. What is your favorite feature of his?
That is hard--his sweet smile and his muscles!

6. What is his best quality?

His ability to love me.

7. What is his nickname for you?

Honey, thankfully not poopiepants anymore!

8. What is his favorite food?

Anything healthy, brisquet cooked right, steak cooked right.

9. What is his favorite sport?

Football & Baseball.

10. When and Where was your first kiss..

It was April 1st, in between Conference sessions we went up Provo Canyon to a cool little campground. It was hilarious and incredible!

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?

Basically anything but we love watching Biggest Loser, American Idol, and Smallville. We love playing with our kids. We love going on dates--even if they are at our house ;).

12. Do you have any children?

4 : 2 of each!

13. Does he have any hidden talents?

He is extremely talented in many areas, he can basically do anything he puts his mind to.

14. How old is he?

He is 34.

15. Who said I love you first?

I am not sure I am looking it up-very fun reading. Well I never really said, we both said it early on I know that. :)

16. What is his favorite music?

Yeah I am no good with names either Shan, he likes good stuff like , Boston, Abba Gold, Journey, George Winston--piano it is beautiful.

17. What do you admire most about him?

His ability to change and constantly be trying to improve. He is a wonderful father and Fantastic husband. He is also a wonderful teacher.

Blue--BYU

I came into the room on President's day to find this--made me smile. Joe is playing Mariokart. They all love it, it is hard if you ask me.

Brigham at school--his class had a pizza party with a ton of treats!

Spencer's class had an ice cream party and treats.

We had a fun Valentine's day. I ran 17 miles, I missed my 15 because I was sick so I went from 13 to 17. I was very nervous that I wasn't going to be able to do it but I did! It was great. That night we went to our ward dinner and dance. It turned out to be so much fun. We love our new friends and are grateful for all of our friends everywhere. Joe made a Delicious jumbiliya-however you spell it. Everyone really liked it. He has also been working on a black bean dip and a garbanzo dip--I love both. I will have to get him to finalize a recipe!

A new dress and bubble bath! Thanks Everyone! Gma she loved the dishes too, especially the pink plate! She said, "Mom, butter is my wish." Nice my 3 yr old's b-day wish is butter! Well thankfully she "wishes" for things all the time and they are hardly ever repeated. Hopefully butter isn't one that gets repeated!!!

We have been sick all week, everyone but Joe. It hasn't been very fun. Plus having all these birthdays without family here is really tough!! I am sure they are feeling the same way. They have been awesome and sent fun stuff. We love you and miss you!!!

We watched my cousin's kids all day and then celebrated with them. It was really fun. We missed having the rest of our family at the party though!
