Mary was announced as the new Drum Major for the Mountain Star Marching Band the other night. She has an assistant but she gets the big podium this next year.
Lucy arrived safely in Oregon on Wednesday. We get to talk to her tomorrow but she has uploaded a lot of cool pictures on Google photos. She is currently in a trio according to the pictures.
Gma Great's orchid is doing amazing!
My team from work except we are missing Jessica. We won the step challenge. Sammi, Dylan, Ashley and me. I got the Kanesville SpEd job. I will be starting soon. I am excited, it should be good.
On Friday after work/school we headed to Vernal. We attended the viewing that night and the funeral the next day. It was hard but good to be with family and talk about our feelings and to celebrate Connon's wonderful life.
The 3 littles enjoyed swimming, I enjoyed the hot tub. Brigham and Madi visited with me for a while in the pool area.
Heber getting some hot chocolate.
The rest of these are backwards in order.
Really weird listening to all our grown children. Monte and Maycee on left, Spencer, Brigham, Madi, Trystan, Kaden (Kenna's husband), Bridger, and the back of Kenna. Angie off to the left.
Sawyer playing with all the kids.
Toni and Heber. She had never been on this end of the RS luncheon. She wanted everyone to hurry up because she knows how it goes. :)
Connon's grandsons, Henry and Douglas. They are so adorable. They kept going over to the casket and telling Connon to wake up. It was heart wrenching.
The girls recognized the mortuary guy as being the brother in law of a famous you tuber they follow. He was very nice to them.
The weather thankfully cooperated while we were at the cemetery.
The Arnolds.
Mary did a great job leading the music. Joe spoke and did amazing as well. I will have him attach his talk to Family Search.
Only 4 of them left. Millie didn't make it to the funeral.
Flowers the Sullivan's sent. My family gave us a beautiful plant that I didn't take a picture of.
It was a beautiful service, really difficult though. Some of us cried the whole funeral. But how THANKFUL we are that we know about the Plan of Salvation. We know where Connon is, we know we can see him again. We are so thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thankful Sarah chose to miss her tournament in Las Vegas, her team is headed home now.
