December is in Full Swing

 

Carly and Marjorie at the Nutcracker. We had a good time watching some of my homeschool art girls perform. (I teach 2 art classes at a Homeschool co-op on Tuesday mornings).

From a freezing cold walk with Heidi. They lost they sweet baby Archer last week after he fought for 8 months in the hospital in California. I hadn't seen Heidi since March.

Frances and Marjorie had their dance recital on Wednesday night.

Heber had a line (that I missed on video) and sang in his 2nd grade musical. So CUTE!!

On Tuesday night we went to Sarah's choir concert below and then to Mary's band concert.

On Monday morning before Brigham called I got to volunteer at Sub for Santa with Lindsey and her mom. It was awesome to help out.

It was a crazy busy week. I also finished up another oil painting, I didn't dare post it on here yet. But I will next week. The finish on it is driving me nuts. I hope I can fix it before I take it to Ogden. Only 3 days of school this week and then a few days of waiting for Christmas. Haha. I am grateful for the many blessings we have. Frances has had strep again. Thankfully the medicine works so fast. There is so much crud going around.

I went to Joe's work party alone, since he and Lucy needed to be on the road earlier than we hoped for her early game on Saturday. We do a white elephant exchange and it has gotten so CRAZY. This is the gross swimsuit I came home with. The kids had fun laughing at it. But on Saturday morning Fran comes in and sees it sitting there (less than 12 hours after we got it) and says, eww why do you still have this? It should be in the dumpster! Haha. Truth.

I got to go to a super fun neighbor Favorite things party last night. We had so much fun exchanging gifts and laughing so hard. Love my friends.

Lucy pitched in all the games this weekend. She was/is sick too. They only lost one, the championship. 2-0. If they would have hit at all they could of won. They beat the same team yesterday 9-5.  She had some great hits and pitched awesome. Thankfully they beat this supposedly large storm. We shall see.
