Spencer's Homecoming/actual Halloween

 

Spencer did amazing today. I absolutely loved his talk. I am thankful to be his mom. During Primary the kids got to cut our "hair" if they sang well. It was effective and fun.

We had lots of family come. Joe made pulled pork, terriaki chicken, mac salad and potato salad. Lucy made tiny pumpkin breads and sugar cookies. I made PB oatmeal cookies. Mom and Shan brought cookies. Jeanne Higbee brought over a couple plates of yummy cookies too. It was a really nice day, so thankful.

The kids have some very patient cousins. Lots of boy cousins on both sides. A few girls thrown in. We are so blessed!

Friday. Halloween should officially be changed to the last Friday of October every year. End of story. For all parents and teachers sake. 

Frances and I got to run stations at both Heber's and Sarah's class parties. It was really fun. Then we got to see them all in the parade. 

Heber's class pet. SO darling. Each kid has one of these. It goes away if they don't keep their desk clean. 

This doll kept raising up and down out of the window. Frances was fascinated.

I took Spencer, Lucy, Marjorie, Heber, Frances to Lagoon on Saturday from 10:30-4:30. We had a blast and then came home and trick or treated. Mary had just finished a Murder Mystery party with 16 friends at our house. No pictures--sad. James, Angie, Grannie, Trystan, Monte got here just before us. Joe and Spencer left for the BYU game right after we got back and we had all of our family here the next day for Spencer's report on his mission.

She was brave and wanted to try Tidal wave again, she cried again. But she liked looking at Spencer and Lucy in the back of the other side.
