35 weeks

 Jaron Harbison, 10 yrs old, has been working on this for 3-4 months. He did a great job! So glad I get to work with him and so many other awesome artists!

Merry Christmas!

 Our first Christmas away from extended family. We ate with friends on Christmas Eve and on Christmas day.  We spent the rest of the time with just us! It was actually pretty fun and we had a good time. We are so richly blessed and are so thankful to be a family.  We love all of our Family and Friends. Lucy above opening her gift from Timarie.

 The Penlands had Brigham, Spencer, Joe and Sarah. They LOVED all of their gifts, especially the BYU stuff! Thanks Penlands!!!

 Spencer got Mary her own scooter--she was so excited. This year we let the kids draw names among themselves and took them on dates for them to purchase a sibling a gift with their own money. It was really fun and we all enjoyed it.  I can't believe how well they know each other--I am going to use them more often! :)

 AND LO AND BEHOLD--we got snow HERE in TX on Christmas day. This is just the start too. We still have snow and it is the 27th. Weird--it froze though so not to fun to play in now. The kids were so excited though. They said it was a Christmas miracle!

Lucy made this tile for Joe and I at school. It is so cute! Thanks Lucy!  We got all of Christmas put up yesterday,  yes I am nesting, and yes I am excited to have this baby girl and meet her! Joe and I got to go to the temple today, that was fun.  Joe and Spencer were suppose to be gone to Winter camp but with the weather, not the right Dr. forms filled out, contractions during the night, no fire rule, and other things they decided not to go. I am thankful for that under the current circumstances. I am sure they will get to go another time.

Our family got the fun gift of an Ipad (finally--my kids would say)! They have LOVED it and it was so fun to do facetime with family even though it didn't work that great (yet). We love Our Savior Jesus Christ and the peace He always blesses us with.

 Class parties today!  Yay we are out of school until Jan. 7th!!! Wahoo--I think?!!!

 Our new bathroom (downstairs) sink/cabinet! It looks so much better and Joe used his dealin' skills and got it for a great price!

On Monday night we made it to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa. We had a fun time and the kids all spoke with Santa.  Sarah wouldn't go any closer than where she was at.  Spencer asked for legos, Brigham asked for legos or anything sports, Lucy asked for a cuddly creeper (happy napper I think is the real name?) (a stuffed animal basically with a doorbell); Mary a barbie. 

Mary's party at Pre School was Wednesday. The kids were so sweet in bringing me gifts. That was really fun!  We did pancakes and pajama's. I didn't take my camera because I was in charge of the pancakes. So no pics--sorry Mary! :)

Fun time of year even though so many crazy things going on around the world.  We are really blessed!  BYU won their bowl game last night and the guys are headed to Waco soon to see the Basketball team play Baylor.  Fun times!

Random

 On Tuesday it was be your favorite book character day.  So Lucy was Fancy Nancy in the Pajama party book. 

This was Sarah's get up yesterday.  We are watching my friend's dogs and the girls have been loving on the Chihuahua because she is so much smaller than the lab.

 The kids helped me mop the floor yesterday.  It was actually a huge help. I am a FAN of tile!

Mary--but you can tell she was not feeling 100%, so won't be using this for the wall, but I am so mad because I can hardly ever catch that smile!

Today was Spencer's last Primary program. That is so weird. Our neighbors Amber and Jason and their girls came too--it was so fun having them there.  The kids did great! It was a nice meeting even though it was really crowded and we were late.  A train was derailed and made us even later than we were. The boys (Joe included) helped me so much this morning with putting together a temple handout for every child in our Stake--550 of them.  I am a blessed Momma!  The cold weather is moving in tonight. It has been very pleasant the past month. The kids are so excited for Christmas--I hope I can manage without yelling too much.  :)
