Welcome HOME ELDER EVANS!!!

Mom brought balloons and beat us there by quite a bit. Shan filmed for us but my copy is not good. I will try to post it when I figure out how to get it clear.

His flight was delayed 45 minutes but thankfully all went well.

Trying to patiently wait.

REUNITED, and it feels SO GOOD! :)

Gma Great and Dad (Gpa Garth) were not feeling well so they didn't come to the airport. We didn't have much time before we needed to meet with our Stake President for his release but we managed to eat yummy food at Apollo Burger thanks to my Mom. Mom, Shan and I didn't fit at that table.

Triple Crown/Loafer with Spencer

Lucy played all week in Ogden for the Triple Crown. Spencer and I got to go up on Friday. Shawnette, Shan, and my parents all got to come for some. Lucy played AMAZING and even hit a home run for us. Of course both camera's timed out from the heat during that time and Shan even went to the bathroom right before she got up. :(

We didn't think they would make it to Saturday, but they did. Brigham flew in at 2:45 and Lucy and Joe got there a few minutes before he walked through the gate. SO CRAZY. They ended up 3rd place out of 34 teams in the 18u as one of the youngest teams there. So cool. She missed the picture with the trophy because she had to leave before the last game actually got over to get to the airport.  I haven't added up her stats but she played well. Fun, CRAZY week.

So thankfully we got this picture a day before they were actually done.

Spencer really wanted to hike Loafer with me too. SOOO after being in Ogden ALL day (6:45 am-5 pm) we decided to hurry and go. Thankfully remembering our head lamps. It is a 12 mile hike and we started at 6 p.m. I can't believe I wasn't more scared coming all the way down in the dark but it was actually very cool and I really loved it. Glad I got to sleep in on Saturday before we PICKED UP BRIGHAM!!!

Saw a few of these toads/lizard things.

South tip of Utah Lake.

Lots of beautiful flowers.

Had to cross 4 patches of snow that weren't there last year at this time.

This was the worst crossing. That tree wasn't supposed to be on the trail either.

These pictures don't really do any justice. Watching the sun go down was AMAZING!

He found a carabiner in the rocks to fix the flag.

We only saw a few deer. We didn't see any people except at the trailhead at the beginning. We saw their tents at the false summit coming down. The weather was incredible, really grateful we squeezed it in.
