Dance recital and random

Our neighbors invited us to a little hunt in their yard last weekend. The younger kids went and had fun finding eggs and eating a little candy. It was fun visiting.

Sarah spent a lot of her time trying to get an egg out of a pipe, so she is sad because she only got a couple.

 sign I made...

We've gone on a few bike rides with the littlest 2 in the trailer, not a good pic of them but I tried.

Marjorie, Sarah, and Mary had their dance recital last week, it was cute and they did a great job, especially for only 8 weeks and several dances learned.

Aubrey Snow, their cute teacher, she is a junior in high school, very beautiful dancer.

He is becoming quite the builder.

View out our side yard. Our new friends the Moore's just moved in that grey house that is fully pictured. We are grateful for them! She is the new YW President, Lucy is excited.

Playing over at the ALA, I will have to add some cute movie clips of Frannie and her brothers.

She is already coloring and writing all over herself and books. Heber already has the walls covered.

Brendan and Spencer are going to Prom next month, assuming their dates say Yes. Joe had way too much fun coming up with ideas for Spencer.

Trying to plant this little thing that sprouted off the one next to it. It is so cute!  We put it in Sarah's pot from St. Patrick's day or Halloween. lol.

My final piece that I submitted to the Church's International Art contest. The theme is "Meditations on Belief". This piece is titled "Holiness to the Lord", that is what is inscribed on the cow's bell.

 Always putting on Frannie's stuff.

Throwing a fit, but her outfit was so cute.

We are so EXCITED for Conference in just a couple of days. And EASTER too! And we are finally going to be able to go the Easter Egg Hunt at my Gma's. Except Lucy and Joe probably won't make it, she is playing in a Saturday tournament. I didn't realize it was Easter weekend or probably wouldn't have comitted.

The boys have been having fun working out at track and competing a little. Yesterday Lucy had placement evalutations for the city softball league. Her coach wants her to play in both. They are in the Accelerated Orem league and she is doing Spanish Fork Rec. It was pretty entertaining according to Joe. It is 5th and 6th graders. The pitchers and catchers were asked to stay after. Some of the poor catchers that caught for Lucy have never played before. I can't even believe they let that happen, but I am sure they didn't know. One girl just turned and let it hit her in the back. Another one froze, didn't move her glove and got nailed in the face mask. Knocked her flat. She thankfully laughed. Those poor girls might not want to play now. The director asked Joe to tell her to ease up. His reply, "She is." She wasn't even using her legs, she was trying to get it right to their glove so they didn't have to do anything. When they were doing grounders, the coach wasn't using a glove.  Lucy didn't realize it at the time and just threw it in from short stop like normal. The big guy just jumped out of the way and started laughing. Lucy yells out, oh sorry I thought you had a glove.
