Spencer W. Kimball

I decided to do a sketch of each person my children are named after. Here is Spencer W. Kimball. I love him, he was a Wonderful Prophet. He was the Prophet when I was baptized and there will always be a special place for him in my heart, especially now that my oldest is named after him. My scanner isn't very big so it is cropped a bit!

I did not watch very much of this show but happened to catch this part of an episode while staying with James and Angie and this really struck me and has sorta stayed with me even though I am way more into the "dancing" shows. I wanted my mom to see this. He ended up winning by the way. I think it is pretty cool.

Joe and Spencer's Trip

Spencer and Joe went on a little trip to an Airshow with our good friends Ben and Scott Roper.
They spent two nights in a little town outside of Houston and had a great time except for one part....

Another Random post

I finally made some flowers for my girls. This is one of them.



This is what Lucy wanted to wear the other day. A new hand-me-down from cousin Amber and new shoes for church. Mary once again is cracking me up!


She loves SHOES, any shoes as you can see.

The boys have started Taikwando, they love it. My camera is not good inside buildings.

This is their first day and Spencer won the balance competition.

We have had a fun week, busy but good.

Spencer's shelf

Raingutter Rigotta--Welcome to Scouting. My boys (Joe included) Love scouts--surprisingly. They have already had so much fun and we have only been in it a month. They are racing their boats down raingutters if you can't tell.


I chopped Mary's hair since the front is just barely trying to come in.

This is the finished product--Spencer made the shelf and painted it. Now he can make me one!

BYU

This weekend was a great one for our family! A great friend came and went to the game with Joe in the brand new stadium. They had a great time and it was an AWESOME game. Plus John got to stay with us for the weekend and the kids LOVE him, they seriously would not leave him alone. I should have pulled out the camera, but I guess I still wouldn't have been able to use the
pics since our computer died and I am using Joe's work computer.

In all of the prayers yesterday John was mentioned, but Lucy's was hilarious. She said the blessing on the food and every sentence mentioned John. Thankful that he was here, bless that he can come to my birthday and bless that he can come to my Gpa and Gma's house. Since she has been praying (last couple of weeks) she does not miss mentioning Gpa and Gma.

Lucy also told me after dropping the boys off for school one day that she really needed the bear Gpa and Gma gave her because she really missed Brigham and she just needed to hold that bear. She also told me the other day that I am the honey on her sandwich.

Princess Party

(I hate that the pics always come on backwards--I have so much I would like to learn about blogging.) Victoria turned 4 this week, she is one of our cute neighbors. Lucy had so much fun at her party!
