FUN with Gma and Gpa part 2

 Getting ready to go get Gma and Gpa!

 So tired the day we picked them up. She didn't take a nap until she got home and decided to paint.

 Art Show was on Saturday night, me and Lillian Bowden. More to come on this later. Fun to have my parents there for it though!

This one just melts my heart.  First of all she hardly EVER lays like this. She likes to arch her back all the time, so the fact that she layed like this on him this morning is so precious then to catch it in the rustle and bustle of this crazy morning. Awesome!

We got to see "The Croods"  yesterday in our brand new theatre up the street. It was fun to be there and we were all alone in a NICE room. Fun! Sarah watched it really good for a 2 yr old! 

Marjorie laughed out loud for my mom at the art show while she was changing her bum. So FUN!

They got to see parts of Brigham and Spencer's game and Lucy's game on Saturday. They overlapped quite a bit. Brigham got to pitch and both boys got some hits.  It was so nice having them here. Gpa Marvin passed away this morning.  Gpa Dean is not doing well at all. Uncle Terry (Brown) was taken by ambulence to hospital today as well, he had a seizure at work.   CRAZY day. Love my Parents!

Lucy

Lucy's musical was last Thursday night. It was so cute! She did fantastic! I wish I would have recorded the whole thing, Brigham got some before the camera died.  She had a serious dancing part with several friends in the slow song of the performance.  Sarah put on her own show before and during the performance.  Joe wasn't able to go to the Thursday night one, so he went Friday morning. So Spencer was assigned to take care of Sarah pre-performance. I was holding Marjorie and visiting with my friend Autumn when the fire alarm went off.   Mr. Evans stands up and tells us not to evacuate that someone had pulled the alarm. (He had already had a rough day as the power was out most of the school day.) A few minutes later Spencer and Sarah came to where we were sitting and I jokingly said to Spencer, "that wasn't you two was it?"  His reply: "yes, mom, it was. She just pulled it and I didn't know what to do..." AHH--so glad we didn't have to evacuate and no harm was done. It was pretty funny. We had her go apologize to Mr. Evans after, he laughed when he saw her and told her it was a good thing she was so cute.

A picture I did for Brady and Luke.  I tried out my new Prisma color markers. It was fun. I might do another version too. So they can both have one someday.

 

As of this moment my kids are officially DONE with all their STARR testing! YIPEE!

Shan this is what you gave her!  Sorry I opted for comfortable rather than fancy! :)  I love the material of the jammies behind that you can't really see, hopefully she will still be wearing them when you see her.

Happy girl who is almost 3 months old! Wowsers!

Fun, fast week again.  Lots of drama with family in UT, feel bad we aren't there to help. Happy Birthday to my sweet Sister Haylee!  Sorry Maycee broke her arm.  Two grandpas in the hospital.

The kids ballgames were so fun this week. They all played great, got some hits, scored some runs.  Brig made a double play while pitching, caught it and fired it to first. The poor boy playing at first didn't know what hit him, he thankfully did catch it though!  The coaches are trying to figure out how to get him to pitch as fast as he threw it to first. :)  Lucy was thrilled to get a triple and single in her second game.  Spencer is a great leader on his team and played short stop the entire game yesterday.  He also got a good hit. 

Our Weekend

Cherie and Warner North came to see us yesterday!  It was so great having them!  They had a brisket dinner with us and listened to all the kids talk to them at once.

We had a great Conference weekend! We enjoyed listening to our Prophet and the Apostles very much. We had ball games too: Lucy's first softball game ever was on Saturday morning. She did fabulous considering it was her first ever! The boys got cancelled AGAIN but they had another today thankfully. We have had a lot of rain but the fields weren't that bad Saturday. They had a great game tonight. Brigham got 2 awesome hits, the first one went way out in left field straight into the fielder's glove. It was so crazy! He hit a grounder over 2nd and short the second time and got on base. He played second base and pitched the last inning. Struck out 2 batters.  AND he got to pitch to his brother! Spencer played 3rd the whole game until the last inning and then caught for Brigham. He looked great too. He walked and struck out. It was a fun game except I forgot to get a babysitter! ;) 

It was really nice having Cherie and Warner here for a yummy dinner Joe made. I loved Conference too.
