Spencer's creations/Lucy's skirt

Spencer has been busy with the tinker toys since we have been back. He loves to make things up and build as he goes.

Sarah has had a little bug ever since we got back, nothing major just not quite her wonderful self!

Lucy showing us a school outfit Gma sent--thankfully she likes it! She found these shoes at Kid to Kid along with....

this skirt. Lately she has been wearing a similar skirt that she talked one of her friend's into giving her. Well it was already well worn and she wore it non-stop and finished it off. I looked and looked on the internet for something similar. She wanted it long and with ruffles. I couldn't find anything. So I thought well maybe there will be one at kid to kid since it was an older skirt. Yep! We found one that is cuter and a size bigger--Perfect!!!

We have had a pretty nice week adjusting to life again. Ran 13 miles yesterday. It is SO HOT here. I hope I can get all my long runs in before our race. I will never train for a Fall Marathon again while living in TX. Just sayin....

We are trying to get ready for Spencer's birthday and for school. Brigham CANNOT wait to be the big brother at school and to take care of Lucy. He is just counting down. Oh and I got tickets for a friend and I to go see So You Think You Can Dance Tour when they come to TX in October! SO Excited!

Awesome tunnel that they could walk on.

Aunt Shan helped with hair for Family pictures.

Spencer spent a great deal of time building in the sand.

The boys relaxin in the pool and Brig posing.

Spencer and Gma. We celebrated his b-day early with the family.

Hair time, Maycee and Mary had a great time playing together (when Maycee was not hurting her! ;)  )

Make-up too.

Madison's picture on top with pink sky on display on the wall in the musuem.

Brigham's picture on the slide show in the Church History and Art Museum.

I wasn't thinking or I could have had each of the girls stand by the prophet they were named after as well.

Trying to lift a replica of the gold plates. Heavy!

This was a neat stop. The sister missionaries took this and Lucy has been drawing sister missionaries ever since. She wanted to grow up to be just like the one that had on a cute outfit.

Mary and Kenna

Trystan and Brigham--couldn't find Monte and Spencer--they were off having a water balloon fight.

Sunset in New Mexico taken on the way home.

After camping, we got to go to West Weber for a few days. Fun going to church there and eating at Maddox. While we were at Maddox waiting to be seated, Mom was outside with my girls and Elder Perry came up to her and shook her hand. He and his wife came for lunch. It was fun to see him. I did get to see a few friends and that was really great. We also got to have dinner with our old neighbor's, the Sphren's, and see some West Point friends. Yum!
The kids thought we would be able to be there as long as we normally are as well as camp, so they were a little put out when we left but they were TIRED. We stopped in Salt Lake on our way to St. George to see Brigham's picture in the Church History and Art Museum. It was a fun stop.
We got to see some family and friends in St. George, the kids had a fabulous time playing with cousins. We had a fun time visiting Ryan and Josie too. Then we headed home. The Suburban worked out really well. Lots more room, which was really nice! So thankful for all the help we received there and here. Linda kept Taffy again, that went really well for the most part. Our neighbors helped watch our home. We are really blessed!

Our Trip July 2011 part one

Sawyer

Front to back, left to right: Sarah, Haylee, Trevor, Luke, Logan, Brady, Lucy, Maycee, Mary. Brigham, Jace, Spencer. Dad, Andrew, Brent, Joe, Mom, Shannalee.
We had a great trip. Started in Vernal, visiting Uncle Connon, Aunt Toni, Bridger and Sawyer. Walker and Courtney are on their missions, Hunter was at Scout Camp. Weird, but we had a great time! We met my family at Spirit Lake, it was only 70 miles from Connon's. We had a wonderful time all except the mosquito's. They were horrible. I did get to hike with Spencer, Brent, and my Dad. The temperature was awesome, wore long sleeves the whole time! Lots of fishing, baseball, eating. Thanks Mom and Dad! Brent and Haylee let us use their tent, it worked out great. Thanks!!!
