Sarah and Mary performances

I was sad that we were missing several pieces of my favorite nativity my Mom gave us 20 years ago. I was able to find the complete set on ebay! Yay!

Sarah had drama this semester and she had a performance on Tuesday. She did a great job!

For YW on Wednesday our class did baptisms. Thankfully Joe came to help us. Rosie, Rachel, Sarah, Me, Ella, Janeyi

On Thursday night Mary had a concert. Marjorie had puked all night on Wednesday night. I woke up feeling sick. So did Joe, Lucy, Heber, and Frannie. I thankfully was able to pull it together to go to Mary's concert. She didn't get sick until Friday. Sarah, Brigham and Spencer are the only ones that haven't had it.

Mary did really well though. She played both the piccolo and flute.

Our cute neighbor Ellie Wheeler came to see some of her friends.

I am loving Heber's persuasive writing papers. So cute.

Yesterday I went to Ogden to do a paint night with Kristin Aragon and her friends. We met in High School. I got to meet these ladies before. Fun seeing them. Brandy Wilson, Shawnette, and Valaree.

I watched quite a few Christmas movies this week. I can't believe it is already a week away.

Been working on YW gifts all week.

Our ward party was Wednesday night. Marjorie got to be Mary, Heber a wiseman, Frannie and angel and Joe the narrator. Joe is down 30 lbs. :)

Heber had to write a persuasion paper for school. I love it so much. 

Sarah has lots of friends. This particular group has started doing big things for holidays. (I think it is a trend. ugh) So she asked if we could do a paint night. It was a crazy night and they were here for 4 hours and loud and messy. Oh well, hopefully they had fun.

They also exchanged real gifts and white elephant. 

Mary's friends made cookies yesterday.

An inside joke at Joe's office inspired this white elephant gift for last night's faculty party. It was so fun and the food was amazing. Joe cooked the tri tip steak for us and everyone brought dishes. Seriously so good.

 Becky's dog loved Joe. Haha.

Trail Runs/Nutcracker/Recital

Michal and I are doing a trail run every Monday now. This was on our way to the Hot pots, a whole flock of wild turkeys in the road.

This morning it was soooo cold.

Yes, her hair is frozen where her breath hit and my head band has frost all over it from my sweat freezing.

It was SO beautiful though and we warmed up enough running. I did have to use hot hand with my gloves at first. 

This darling little mink came out in front of us and then came back out for picture. We left him some peanuts.

Mary did this owl for a friend.

She was also selected from the band to go to the Captain's academy banquet for winter sports in the Nebo School District. Way to go Mary!

For YW we went to the Orem openhouse. It was fun seeing it at night too. The stained glass in it is so AMAZING!

We found out that Mary's elephant and Marjorie's lamppost are both going to Region. Congrats Girls!

I took these 3 to Ogden to see Gabi Hansen perform in the Nutcracker. We met Shawnette and Jane there. It was fun, then we went to Arby's after and made it home in time for Marjorie and Frannie's dance recital.

The gang reunited. So fun to see these two at the same time. Love them both.

Oh and I got to see this lady! Love Carolyn Hansen.

Shawnette and I wanted to see just how close we are related. 4th cousins!
