2 days before delivery.
A few hours before delivery.
Here he is!!! Born at 8:08 on November 25, 2014, 7 lbs 21 oz, 21 in long. Happy and healthy. We came home today and had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. SO BLESSED! We were suppose to go in the morning of the 25th but the hospital called and said they were full. At noon they called and said come up. Got there at 1. Finally had an iv by 2--they had to poke me 6 times--ugh. I was not very soft or dialated (1). So it was a slow start--which I was wondering the whole time if we had made the right decision--but my doctor was scared of my fast deliveries and amount of babies. But I made it to a 3 after several hours. By 7:00 I got an epidural and was a 4-5. And then (just like in the past) I was ready to push at 8. Crazy. He was in my arms by 8:08. He has been so good. I really love my new doctor, Deanah Jibril, and I enjoyed the Medical City of Plano a lot too!
Meeting the family yesterday, the 26th. Lucy.

Spencer's Eagle Project
Spencer worked on organizing a Food Drive for City House in Plano, TX. It is a home for children and young adults. He made fliers and had a few specific items listed that the home needed and asked shoppers to pick one to purchase and drop in the box on the way out. People were so kind and generous. Lots of boys from his troop helped out too.

Kroger let him do it at their store, Costco gave him a gift card to use for City House and Sam's provided that nice box, food to feed the Scouts on that day they volunteered and they printed those posters for him that we put on the box they painted. Kinko's provided the copies of the fliers.

Scott Roper, Thomas Barton, Brig
Brigham took most of these pictures for his Photography merit badge. Good job Brig!
Mark Campbell in the background, red plaid shirt. Good friend of ours!
Nate Porter--one of the older boys in Spencer's troop--he was a great help.
Andrew Barlow, Peyton Arnell, Jacob Davis, Keith McCasland
Ryan Rigby in the back left, and Jeff Arnell in the back right. The rest I have named before.
They had so much food they had to take it to 2 places. The woman who runs it (below) was overcome with emotion. They have never had this much brought in before.
They estimated it at $4,000 worth of food.
It is very likely this will be helping kids Spencer knows, it was a really great experience for him and our family. Joe did a great job helping him along. Our ward and community are AWESOME!!!
(We are waiting to hear back from the hospital, was suppose to go in this morning but they called and said there was no room. Suppose to hear back soon. Crazy! Mom and Dad flew in last night.)
