First Ever Baking/Art Camp! All week long...

So cute Marjorie!

So this whole week I had 3 girls come over everyday from 9-3. Lillian 11, Madison 9,  and Katelyn 11. We had a great time. We baked something each day and did art all week! Above is Madison's oil pastel with baby oil.

 Pumpkin cookies

 Heber standing up sort of.

 Lillian's.

Katleyn's, I can't remember what that word means but it is something nice. :)

 Madison painting with acrylics.

Whole wheat bread, we ground the wheat first.

 Katelyn's acrylic.

 Lillian's acrylic.

Heber helping fold clothes, not really.

 Making noodles.

 They had to "paint" too.

 Lillian's lizard in acrylic.

 Madison's acrylic

Lillian's above and below. She can draws these without looking at anything.

One of Joe's high school friends "sold" this to us, lets just say it is a HIT!

 Madison's dragon friend, acrylic.

Mary's first acrylic, I helped a little with the background.

Pinterest sharpie fail.  The ones we were looking at were so cool!

The boys did their sculpting merit badge while we were at it. This is smashed obviously, I didn't catch it in time. The girls had fun playing with clay.

 Lillian's first watercolor.

 Decorating cakes.

 Katelyn's acrylic.

Hannah came for a little bit yesterday, she did this at her house but we finished it and used baby oil to smooth it out. Prismas and oil pastels.

 Madison, prisma colors

 Lucy starting her first acrylic.

My African violet only blooms in July.

Madison's self portrait, just practicing. Pretty awesome.

Lucy's finished acrylic!
I am so excited to get to work with these talented kiddos! It really was a FUN, exhausting, exciting, busy week. So glad it worked out.

Summer is flying by...

He likes Marjorie's toy, pretty cute to see him playing with it and looking at himself in the mirror.

Chillin at the park waiting for Lucy's practice to get over.

Another thing Spencer made in art class at school this past year. And the stool in the background Brigham and Joe made last week for the basketry merit badge.

Heber's first swim the other day, he liked it.  The kids quickly realized though that if he swam I had to hold him and that meant I couldn't do anything with them. So he chilled in his chair the rest of the time. Our temperatures have been unbelievable this summer. So nice!  I relearned how to jump into a pool, wow it has been a long time since I have went under. The kids thought it was pretty fun.

These were at Mary's softball party. McKenna is below on Mary's shoulders.

Lucy, Ryley S, Jennifer M, ?, ?, Mary--I didn't get to know this team hardly at all because I was usually watching both her and Lucy's games at the same time.

Cute girls. Fun time for Mary.

We are having a good time playing and working this summer. The boys each have a mowing job, Brigham trades for baseball lessons from our awesome neighbor. Brigham goes to a strength and conditioning camp everyday too.
