Happy Birthday to Brigham and Marjorie!

 Backwards again.

Marjorie was sick all week but thankfully was better by Friday for her birthday. She had a fun day and we are so thankful for her! She loves dancing, gymnastics, playing with siblings and friends, art, good food, and treats. We love you Marjorie and can't believe you are already 9!

New outfit and lip gloss.

Frances decided to write a few songs the other day. She has never done this before but it was pretty dang cute and she did well!

We got to sing to Brigham early on his birthday and late the night before for us. His friend's there spoiled him and he got all sorts of stuff. A dear sister made him a delicious birthday cake too!

They also gave him these sandals and African top.

Happy 19th Birthday Brigham! So happy he is serving in Africa and learning so much. He has made so many new friends and has grown so much already. Thankful for the mission program and thankful he went. We love you Brigham!

Arizona Tourney

Coyote that almost ran in front of us by our hotel in Nevada.

I got to see Karrie Goodwin, my MTC companion, at the Mesa Temple Visitor Center right as we got into town on Friday. We left Thursday night after art class. My mom headed down to stay with 4 littles on Friday morning. Lucy played with Wasatch Elite Saturday and Sunday of Martin Luther King weekend. They didn't make it to Monday. It was a really rough tourney for her team but she played well. The best part was we got to see awesome friends and got to see that Lucy is doing really well.

We stayed in a Comfort Suites in Tempe, the location worked out really well!

On Friday night, Joe and I got to go see Cole and Laura Houseley. We doubled with them a few times back in college, Joe and Cole were roommates. Fun seeing them again! They sent us home with delicious cookies, lemons and grapefruit off their trees!

The Phoenix temple is in their church parking lot.

God is so good. We haven't seen the Ulberg's since we left TX, they moved to AZ the same time we moved to UT. We had planned on seeing them somehow since their home in Snowflake was 3 hours from where we were. When I text Kindra Saturday morning to see where they were playing Volleyball, we realized we were AT THE SAME COMPLEX! It was a new facility and they had lots of events going on at the same time. It was so cool, we got to see them 4 times! We went to dinner with them twice and we got to see Kloah play and they got to see Lucy play. It was a tender mercy for me and so fun for all of us.

Mary with Lydia's sisters. They were so cute to keep the book and scoreboard the whole tourney. Olivia and Kendall's sisters were there supporting too.

We thankfully got to head home on Monday morning. Sarah and Marjorie had both gotten sick on Saturday night and threw up bad. It proceeded through the rest of our family that hadn't had it yet after we got home. Mom got sick to her stomach for a week almost but never threw up. I was sick the day we left but thankfully didn't throw up. I am so glad Mom was able to come and the kids were good. We had a really good time and it was so fun to see friends! Lucy pushed through when her team basically gave up. She threw the hardest there and looks awesome. We enjoyed being with one another too, Mary is a great support and fun to have around.

Primary Bulletin Boards

Brigham is having so much success in so many ways in Polokwane, South Africa. He left that area today. The people were so kind and gave him so many gifts.

We found out it was our ward's turn to do the bulletin boards in the Primary room. I decided I could paint murals for them. It was fun.

Lucy got all sorts of awards in her Financial Lit class, she was also the only sophomore. The rest of the class were older. Both her and Mary got 4.0's for this first semester. Sarah, Marjorie and Heber are doing well in school too.
