Trevor Temple Day/Joe's early bday dinner

On Monday I painted like crazy to finish this in time for the Church's International Art Contest. Lift up the Hands that Hang Down. This blind lady I pass on the trail lifts me every time I see her.
I often pass a blind woman walking on the river trail, she walks with many different people who hold her rope and walk beside her. She responds with a chipper hello every time you call out to her. She walks holding her head up and her pace is fast. She is often chatting away as she walks blindly holding to her rope. I have been lifted by her many times, often overcome with all sorts of emotions just at the sight of her. In Doctrine and Covenants 81:5 it reads: Wherefore, be faithful; stand in the office which I have appointed unto you; succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees.”

We got to go to the West Weber Cemetery today.

Jordan Brown sent me this of me filming Lucy.

Yesterday we made it to the airport to drop off Brigham and then to the Temple with Trevor. Gma and Gma Great were stuck in the locker room waiting for their locker to open up. We Loved being there with Family. We went to Chuckarama for lunch. Dad hung out with Frances for us.

Some more pics from Aunt Shan.

The 5 Seniors with Nat. Emrie Pintar, Olivia Carroll, Alyce Archuleta, Nat, Lu, Tatum Hall

Natalie told them what a special group they are and that she has never had a year where she hasn't had to get after them for some drama. She has also never had a group make all the younger ones feel so welcome. Great job Girls!

Excited family!

Lucy with some of her "kids". They call her mom since she drives them around and they drink her water. Pretty accurate actually. Haha.
Audrey Overturf, Lia Higginson, Bailey Smith

Lucy and shortstop Jade Romero, she is AMAZING!

Lucy and Kambrie Orton

We got to do the Fire Truck down Main for a 4th time. How crazy is that!? I don't know what I am going to do on the 24th of July now, I guess watch this on Youtube while I watch Mary in Ogden.

This year they went all out, there were probably 20 police cars too.

Whitney was the sophomore coach that Lucy worked with the first 2 years.

Then over to the school to ring the Victory Bell. So so fun. Thankfully Wes Carroll brought them a ladder. These seniors weren't going to shimmy up there. Haha.

What. A. Ride. Of course, the BYU coach did see Lucy and said what a great job she was doing and couldn't talk to her until after the games were over. So one last speck of hope. She is really torn. She is ready to move on but at the same time really does love playing. She is thinking a year at BYU and then a mission. No softball.
