Other important things...busy Thanksgiving week!

 GT (Gifted and Talented=more work for mom) project for school. Lucy worked hard on this for a couple of weeks. It is a board game for her enigma--Atlantis.

She painted squares on 40 cards too, it is like candy land.

 I was cutting cabbage the other day and couldn't believe how pretty it was.

 Tons of progress on our new room. Joe has been working around the clock.

 Sarah is faking.

 Marjorie slept in her new room and bed last night with Sarah. Yay!!!

 Lucy and Mary in their new room!!!! It is DONE!!! Whoop!!!  Still some decorating to do, but YAY!!!!

And we decorated for Christmas, not sure if we are done or not but the tree is up and the mantle done. That just might be all. I am in a serious de-junking mode.  BUSY week but that is our life, since I think I say that every time I post. Brigham is working on his Eagle and will probably do it this week and next. He is building and installing 3 new benches at a park that only has one.

We had a wonderful time. The Thanksgiving meal was included, it was a buffet that was offered from 5-9, so it was that type of food. But I didn't have to make it or clean it up, 2 years in a row! Whoop whoop! We definitely missed family but had a wonderful time together. We are so extremely blessed. Looking forward to this marvelous season!

Happy Thanksgiving South Padre Island style!!! part 1

 We headed down south on Tuesday. It was a 9 hour drive, we did it in 10. We got there in time to go to bed but they were up early and spent Wednesday and Thursday in water, back and forth between the pool and the ocean. Heber turned 1 on Wednesday, we had fun celebrating him on the beach!

 Lucy, Brigham and Spencer boogie boarded almost the whole time. Thankfully good friends lent us theirs since I couldn't find them in the stores in November!

 Our room was middle row, third one in from the right.

 Mary and Sarah liked to jump the waves holding on to Joe or I's hands. Mary got stung by a jelly fish the first hour out there. Thankfully she didn't have too bad of a reaction and it was gone in a couple hours.

 Tried to take a selfie with my good camera, ha ha.

 He lOVEd the sand and put everything in his mouth, so he didn't play in it long!

 Ran into James' family, they were there from the week. He was on Brigham's soccer team, and they are in the Wylie 2nd ward.

 So fun!
