Mexico Trip: Day 4 Happy Birthday Joe!

Ziggy and Heber chillin'

Lucy hauled all this stuff to Mexico so she could practice.

There were so SO many vendors...we said no all week until the end. Haha. I wanted this as a souvenier.

Sick Spencer.

Mango with spicy sauce. Mine was delicious but most of them weren't ripe. Below is coconut and watermelon.

We also paid them for a ride for some of the kiddo's.

When Heber got back he said, "nothing beats that!" Haha.

We had finally talked Mary and Frances into going but then there wasn't room. (Frances didn't need much talking--I was trying to keep her off it)

Cache kept catching her all these little fish. SHE LOVED IT!

She also stole Kindra's hat.

Playing some games!

See the bunny in the middle?

Joe bought himself a plate.

We sang a horrible rendition of Happy Birthday to Joe. It was so bad I couldn't sing.

On Friday we got up and left. We were on road by 8:53. We got home at 11:45 pm. It was long but decent drive. No hold up's thankfully!      Love Kindra and Drew! They are so great!

We had to give the van a jump right before we left, we left this big charger plugged in all day without driving.

All our shells we came home with.

We had a really great time. We didn't even get stopped coming into Mexico and then coming home we had to show passports for Joe and I. Then there was another stop and we just had to tell them we were all a family and no one else was in our van. It was weird to go on vacation 2 days after school got out. And now that we are home there is no normal to go back to yet. So that has been strange. But now there are only 51 week days of summer left (we made charts) so we better make the most of it! We missed Brigham, he did get to call on Joe's birthday so we showed him around and he talked to Spencer for a bit. He has had some really crazy things happening but he has been blessed and protected. We are so thankful. He is most likely moving out of the country soon!

Mexico Trip: Day 3 Fishing Boat

The guys were cutting up fish for bait on our way out.

They were super helpful and baited and did everything but reel the fish in. So nice!

Tom Caldwell helping Frances fish. He was pretty hilarious too. He owns a hunting ranch.

In between fishing they decided to jump from the boat and swim a bit.

Kindra laying on Mary...

I got to help Frannie reel this in, Sarah actually had to help us too because I had to hold the pole with 2 hands. It was so heavy and hard to reel. So fun!

It was a super fun and successful day! They guys filleted these all and had them bagged ready to take to restaurant to be cooked for us to eat. It was beautiful and I felt fine as long as I didn't go inside the cabin. I had to take Heber to the bathroom and by the time he was done I was sick. I didn't think I would get sick but apparently I do get sea sick on a smallish boat.  Grateful to the Ulberg's and Caldwell's for making it happen.
