Don't know if either of these videos are going to work.

Stake Activity Girl Day

B.A.C.K.--Becoming a Covenant Keeper! So we can get back to our Father in Heaven. That was the theme for the day. I welcomed them there, we watched the 4 minute clip that was shown at the Women's portion of the last General Conference that covers all the covenants we make throughout out lives. Pres. Peterson spoke to them for just a few minutes. Then we went to painting our temple pictures. I had Torrie Denny cut vinyl temples out and I put them all on 8x10 canvases. Brigham did a few. You have to get them on perfectly straight or it looks bad.

We were prepared for 100 girls, we had 84 there.

The temples turned out SO CUTE!  I was stressing about them but it turned out great.

While the girls waited for each other to finish we let them doodle at their tables. (While they were painting a piece of colored paper was pinned on each that put them into a group--so they knew what table to go to.) They met the girls at their table and then were given a bag with random items in it. They had 20 minutes to come up with a short skit about keeping covenants. Lucy is wearing Nelly Anderson's kimono slip. The skits turned out darling and the girls had a lot of fun.

Lucy's temple.

We finished with a lunch Joe had made on Thursday, pulled pork sandwiches, creamed corn and baked beans. Christie Arnell made temple sugar cookies for all the girls. I am sad we didn't get a picture of them. They all loved the pork!

It was really a fun day and everything went super well. Lots of leaders came and helped too.

Joe and Brigham went up to the Scout camp in OK on Friday. They brought a bunch of the boys home yesterday and were here by the time I got back. Spencer had a great time and earned 10 merit badges.

Brigham had another game last night, they played so great! They won 8 to 3. So now they play for the 11U Dallas District Champion on Wednesday night.  We play one of the 2 teams we just beat. So it should be fun!  Brigham played awesome at 2nd base the whole game. He only got up to bat once and walked. He stole home and scored! His team is really fun to watch. They are great!

Wylie All Stars--Brigham

Lucy is strong enough to hold the ball thing while he practices.

We had to drive all the way to Dennison to get out of the rain, but it was a fun beautiful little park.

 17 weeks along.

Mary was being crazy and wanted me to take a million pictures.

Brigham was able to be a starter, playing 2nd base.  He was also the 2nd in the line up. Luke Bumpus is next to him.

From right to left, Colton, Luke Wiseman (head coach son), Zack, Brigham, Luke Bumpus (asst. coach son).

Brigham at bat, he walked and ended up scoring.

We ended up winning, 10 to 0. It wasn't much of a game, hopefully that doesn't end up biting us Saturday.  Really fun team, awesome coaches!  We are having a great time with it--even though it is every night except Sundays.  Go Brigham!
