Mickey's Funeral/Ogden Parkway

Aunt Dorthy, Aunt Pat, Grandma LaRue

Mom and Dad put together a very nice service for Uncle Mickey. Lots of family came and it was so good to see the ones who were there. Terry's (Dad's brother) family all came, Aunt Stacy and her kids came.  Brandee and Jim and their kids were there. Aunt Ruby and 2 of her girls came. Steve Peterson and his wife were there and Steve's thoughts were perfect to end it. He spent a lot of time with Mickey growing up and Mickey was included in their family, he even went on a few trips with him. Shane Surrage was the Bishop conducting, which is awesome. He knew Mickey from softball when we were kids. Gma Painter and Mitch came.

Shan, Aunt Ruby, Haylee down front. Stacy, Brandee, Dad, Terry, Mom, Lonnie, Julio, Me

When we got back last night Spencer and Sawyer were here. It took all the kids to beat Spencer in an arm wrestle.

The pictures that I saved from my mom and sisters get put in different order. So this is all messed up. Me and the littles met Shawnette and Jane at the Ogden parkway after the funeral. We ended up having a great time but Heber and Frances had multiple melt downs.  We saw TONS of beautiful flowers.

Marjorie took a lot of these flower pics.

Aunt Ruby is not doing well. I can't remember that cute daughter's name. Ugh, I will fix this when I talk to my mom.

Mom and Dad both spoke, Shan shared her thoughts and read what Grandma Rue wrote. I read Haylee's remarks and said a few words. Steve Peterson told a few awesome stories and shared one scripture from Revelations about God wiping all our tears.  Mom and Dad provided ham and rolls. The ward provided lots of potatoes and salads and desserts. The desserts were really yummy. It was really nice. Joe and Lucy were at Weber State Softball camp and Mary had a competition for band down here. Joe and Lucy spent the night at Mom's and went to Utah State's camp all day today. SO DUMB they had it on a Sunday. Lucy did really well at both camps. I think Weber State may have moved up to 2nd place.

Brigham had some another baptism this week.

This one was last week.

These 2 were a little bit ago.

I made this for Brandee.
