Watch Dog

Joe was finally able to be a Watch Dog Dad again!  It has been a while since we signed up in time. (He only missed one year but you would of thought it was more! ;) )

Sarah looking at them waiting for her turn...she's got a while!

I finally had enough of the sock stuck in the light so I got it down and got my tool stuck. Nice!!! It didn't take me too long to get it out!

The luau was light night at the church. It was beautiful weather and the food was delicious!  This was the only picture I took.

13 weeks.

2 more weeks of school. Oh we got a new van--12 passenger. Same frame as suburban just a little taller. I took a picture with the ipad and forgot about it.  It is white and big. But it has a sliding door!!!!  That is so exciting. It is easier to load and unload. The kids are so excited about it.  Joe gutted the suburban yesterday, ripped out the carpet, shampooed it and put it all back together. It looks Awesome and way better than any time we had it. So it will not be embarrassing to sell. Can't believe we outgrew another vehicle! At least we are safe with this one. :)

Field day/Last day of soccer

I volunteered at the girls Field day, soggy t shirt station. So I only got pictures of them when they were by me.

 Crystal, Lucy and Simone.

She was so happy she got a real trophy and not a medal, it is even bobble head!

Emily, Landry, Mary, Kenzie, Isabel, Natalie. Missing Lexey and Peyton. Coaches Eric and Mario. Fun team!

This was his second hit of the day that turned into a home run. It was a nice solid grounder past short stop, easy triple and then they overthrew again. He batted in several runs this game. They played great. Spencer's team had their 2nd loss of the season to the same team. Spencer played well. Made some great plays at third and hit both at bat.

We had a fun week. Last weekend Brigham asked me when I was having another baby. I told him probably soon. He said, "Are you pregnant?"  Spencer said, NO, she would be eating way more! I said "Yep." Spencer dropped his spoon. Brigham said, "I knew it, you look pregnant!" Little too observant child. I was doing so good too. 11 weeks not telling. I told the boys they couldn't say anything for a while. That lasted a day and a half.  The kids are so excited!  They want twin boys. Ha!  I changed doctors and it took me a while to decide. So I don't see a doctor until I am 14 weeks along. Whoops. But our appointment is on Joe's 40th birthday. So that is fun, I hope!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

We redid part of the girls room, I couldn't handle the dresser situation. This is already working way better. Never mind that I took the picture before we organized it. I was so excited with how the spur of the moment mirror turned out I had to take the picture!

We had a huge rainstorm on Thursday, another one expected tomorrow. The kids had a great time playing until they heard the tornado sirens and saw fast moving black clouds. We needed the rain so bad. Spencer locked his new shoes and socks in his locker and ran home barefoot. Brigham waited at the school until I got there. Funny boys.

Mary's Kindergarten musical was Thursday night. Joe was out of town but the rest of us enjoyed it. She did great!

Happy Mother's Day today!!! I have been blessed with an Incredible mother. I love her so much. I am also richly blessed with awesome Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, and mother-like figures in my life.   I am so blessed to be a mother, I learn so much from each one of these beauties, so grateful for the chance to call them mine.

The teachers loved their doors! Yay!

Busy weekend

This is Luke Whitworth's new puppy, Mika, who Lucy is obsessed with. She sometimes get to watch him at the ballgames.  Mika is beautiful but would NOT hold still for me to get a decent shot.

My first oil painting in 20 years and 2nd or 3rd in my life. I gave it to a friend.

The 2 non-blue eyes of the fam.

 Mary's school pic.

Lucy's drawing for Gma and Gpa's Easter card.

I did Mrs. Increynold for Teacher Appreciation week. We had fun with it.

This one was for Mrs. Ferrell--Mary's teacher.

Lucy and her Reflections piece.

We had a jam packed weekend, but it was fun. The kids all played great in their games. I got to go to a Relief Society Workshop on Saturday that was really nice as well.  Last night Spencer and Brigham emceed the Court of Honor. They also did a presentation on the history of Scouting in our troop for another merit badge.  They each got quite a few awards. I really should keep track of them on here. Spencer received Space Exploration, First Aid, Dog Care, Auto Maintenance, cooking, citizenship in the community, Sustainability merit badges. He already had 10, I will have to add what they are later. I will add Brigham's later too.
