Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve was very different than normal but very fun. We got to hike Malan's in the morning. Then I powerwashed the shop while Joe worked on the dirt and the kids played games. That night we had yummy fish taco's and reinacted Luke 2. We enjoyed a relaxing evening at home.

This will not upload in order. Ugh. Oh well it all happened in the day. These are backwards as well. Joe made our mission feast again and it was DELICIOUS. Fried chicken, mac and cheese, street taco's, poutine.

We got our 5 mile loop in.

Sarah finished her painting.

I had these ornaments made for Joe. He gave me 3 cute pink tops and a battery lantern that I love. I have no idea why I didn't get pics.

Spencer gave Joe this hat and me a flower bouquet in legos. Brigham and Madi gave Joe and I a $100 gift card to Ruth Chris steakhouse. Sarah wrote each of us a long letter and gave us a bag of chips. It was all very sweet and thoughtful. Frannie made us a calendar. Heber made us a ornament and paper poinsettia.

Sarah gave Marjorie the weighted animal she wanted.

She got a camera too.

We did get to talk to Lucy on and off all day. Brigham and Madi came up about 3 and played with us and ate dinner before heading home again. It was a wonderful relaxing day. We are extremely blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. Heavenly Father gave us the Ultimate gift and the gift that never ends. We are so blessed. Lucy had a good day too and Jerry's baptism went really well yesterday. We got to watch on zoom. Lucy spoke before he was confirmed and she did a great job.

Brown Family Christmas Party

My parents go to A LOT of work to still pull this off after nearly 50 years. So much food and it was all delicious. Clam Chowder, Broccoli cheddar, taco soup and ham and potato served in yummy bread bowls. Lots of dips and crackers, bread pudding and brownie sundae's. And 25+ gifts all beautifully wrapped, it is A LOT. My Mom is probably still recovering. Her ears have been giving her grief, the crystals keep moving around and making her dizzy. Not fun.

We really enjoyed being together. So thankful for loving family and that we can all be together so often.
