Not sure what these corsages were for but someone ordered them for Thanksgiving I think.
I got to help at Frannie's Thanksgiving Feast at school. It was really cute. She help roll the turkey and she put a roll on everyone's plate.
They had rolled up turkey, carrot sticks, rolls with butter, a pickle/olive/cheese cube pick, pudding and a fruit salad with whip cream.
Lucy and I got to go on a few walks over the break. It was chilly but beautiful.
My first Oil painting comission piece for a friend for Christmas.
So my mom had surgery to install a device to control her tongue for sleep apnea. It was more intense than anyone realized. Then we had about 5 different sicknesses going around: strep, stomach bug, crud in the throat, etc. So we postponed being with family and Joe did our own Thanksgiving meal. He certainly takes after my mom. We will have food for weeks. It was all very delicious. We used the fine china, most of the kids had never seen it. They all LOVED it and we had a really enjoyable day.
Fran pulled out her other top tooth that morning. Heber pulled out one of his the night before.
Story time.
Spencer participated in no shave November. So not appealing. We have been teasing him all week.
Stuffing, mac and cheese, ham, green bean casserole, relish tray, green bean casserole, candied yams, potatoes and gravy, cream corn, cheese ball and crackers, queso? not sure why--we didn't eat it until yesterday, roasted turkey, rolls, smoked turkey. I have no idea why he made so much. But we have been eating well for several days.
I bought a chocolate satin pie and we had a pumpkin pie from Sam's.
Can you spy the skeleton in the tree still from Halloween?
Brigham taught this little girl that got baptized after he left.
Lucy made our place cards.
We have SO much to be grateful for. We are so blessed in every way. All of it is because of our Father's loving plan and Our Savior's love and sacrifice. We are excited to be with family again soon.
