The Zoo

Esther (Gundersen) and I took the kids one time before our big kids are out of school. We had a great time! It was very hot, thankfully they have a water area!

Loved the new African Safari section too!

Great water fun!

Thanks Gundersens! It was great fun!

Tanner and Ephraim Probst and Spencer

Brigham played so hard he didn't even eat until the end.

Hayride time!
This was so much fun! We had a great time. The Brights got to come with us (all but Jeff) and the food was great too! Joe helped bury and cook the pig last night, he was gone most the night! They had a great time too!

Soccer Party

The boys got cool trophies this year!

Their coach was awesome and he had great things to say about both of them. He said Spencer was a great team player especially with the other forward. He said Brigham was fearless and was one of the best defenders even though he was the smallest and youngest. Good job boys!

Lucy let me do her hair a different way on Sunday. Worth noting. ;) Plus I love this pic!

Busy Week

So I haven't really written much about what has been going on lately. Last Wednesday Joe had all his Med Students and their wives over for dinner. There was one 2 year old and several babies. The kids had fun playing with them and the food was AWESOME! Brisket, slaw, beans, cream corn, sausage, potato salad, and chocolate cobbler. It was nice to have a clean house too for the short time it lasted!
We had a Primary Activity on Saturday, "A Walk with Christ". It turned out well, the kids moved to four different rooms where they saw by picture mostly different parts of the Savior's life. They got to eat bread, olives and cheese. They got to smell vinegar, touch a crown of thorns, hear beautiful music and see lots of great pictures and people.
Sunday I did a Teacher training mtg, it went well too. Last night Joe was asked to give the lesson at the Spanish ward's FHE so we went with him even though we didn't understand any of it! The kids had a great time playing with the kids after and for their "treat" they served their taco's. Basically different kinds of meat or meat mixture in white corn tortilla's. Our kids were like where is the treat that was dinner? It was funny. We have a soccer party, wax museum, and a luau this week. Busy time of year!
We have enjoyed all the season finales of Lost, Chuck, and I am guessing we will enjoy Biggest Loser. Good bye to t.v. as we know it, we cancelled it. Should be good for us in more ways than one! :)

Brigham's class!

Spencer chatting--Tina in the black shirt. Those two have had a lot of fun this last week! The weather turned out good, plenty muggy and hot but decent!

The Tiebreaker

Saying HI!

Flexing her arm--she's going to need all the muscle she can get! :)

It is a GIRL!!! We are all very excited. Spencer says he is a little disappointed, but I don't think that will last long!

The four of them

Once again, very difficult to get all of them looking and smiling at the same time. I took 27 and these were the only good ones. :) Mom let me know which one you want for your 5x7.
Something is up--the kids were crazy at church today, mine included!!! I guess the feel summer coming on or something. Glad to be headed to bed even though I already took a nap!

Watchdog Day and random

This is Brigham's rice baby he made for me at school. It weighst the same as he did when he was born. Funny, he could barely carry it home.

Love this pic!

Mary with the cute blanket Gma Great made her for her b-day--that I never got a pic of. It is small and fits her babies perfect!

Joe was the Watchdog Dad at Dodd on Monday. The boys were so excited. They had a great day together.

You can tell they go to school early--you can see it in their faces!
Lucy told me on our walk the other day that when Superman comes to Texas she is going to marry him because he is the Best.
Spencer told me on the way to Scouts yesterday (as I was driving and trying to get a knot out of his shoe) that when we have hovercrafts they will have auto pilot for times like these. Where does he come from? Hilarious kids.

Happy Mother's Day!

The girls and I today, the boys weren't ready in time.

My friend called on Friday and told me about a yard sale that had brand new dresses from a business that was going out. This dress was $8! I was excited and so was Lucy once we agreed on which shirt should go underneath!!!

I had a great Mother's Day with the exception of being able to spend it with my own mother and family. Joe and the kids did great and I had a nice day! I love being a mother! The kids cards were so cute, especially loved Spencer's coupons in his. :)

Last night we drove out to a wedding reception for one of Joe's teacher's son. They live on a 700 acre ranch and the whole area was beautiful. This is on a hayride--it was fantastic except by the end my allergies were so bad we had to leave and my eyes were so awful I got many looks of pity on our way out!

Mary enjoying the ride!

Before the hayride though was lots of time on the bounce slide and dinner for everyone. We had a great night!

Spencer was so helpful with Mary, it was very nice!

My new haircut.

Love this pic of my Mom! She is the BEST! I love her so much. I am very blessed to have her in my life and I am thankful for Joe's mom as well. I also have several wonderful Grandmother's and I am lucky to know them! Happy Mother's Day!
