First Day of School

 3rd grade and kindergarten

Lucy is at a new school, 5th grade,  Brigham is 8th grade. They don't go to same school but they go at same time and their school's are right next to each other.

Heber was awake to send them off, Marjorie was still asleep.

Spencer is a big Sophomore this year. Can't believe it! 10th grade.

5 kids in school, 4 schools, over 25 teachers emailing me. Whew! It's all good.

Last week of Summer--art camp

This week I held an art camp for 2 sisters that couldn't come in June. Our family loves them as you can tell so I had to do major improvising to make sure they could get some work done. See art blog for all they accomplished! They are amazing! http://bobbideeart.blogspot.com

Sarah painted her flag. She has been wanting to paint a flag for months. I was shocked at how well she did.

Dr. Muaina fixed Brig's tooth! Yay! Looks better than his real tooth. :)

And he (finally) worked hard on a art project, it is turning out amazing!!!

I have never done mixed media art but really want to, so I helped Lillian along with her first. She did an awesome job!

And this little one was on a roll. She was very patient and I tried to be as I told her every step to take to create this. She drew it and transferred it to the canvas and painted it. She let me show her different strokes and was actually an amazing student. I hope it lasts!!!

 This is Mary's painting.

And the 3 girls got to meet their teachers! Sarah has Mrs. Politte (rhymes with wallet), she seems Awesome!

Mary has Mrs. Reynolds for home room and Perigo for math/science. We love Perigo, I don't know why I didn't take their picture.

Someone had a toy yorkie with them that night. So adorable.

We didn't let Lucy come but said we would say hi to her teacher that was still there from last year, Mrs. Bodman.  She had to show me that Lucy was the first of only a couple students to have reached the living legend status in her classroom over the years. I didn't realize what a big deal it was but she improved over 10 levels on something.  Lucy has some awesome teachers too. She has 4 main ones and then a gym coach, art teacher, etc. We only met the 4 core teachers.

This was Lucy's painting for the week.

We had a gift card to use at the theater so I took the 6 oldest to The Secret Life of Pets yesterday. It was fun to go with them and pretty cute. (So expensive--I could never justify the cost!) Anyway we are ready for school tomorrow!!! What a fast year this is proving to be. Only 5.5 weeks til we meet this new little girl.

Happy 15th Birthday Spencer!

They have been so busy redoing this engine for the truck. Joe is thoroughly enjoying this! I think Spencer is to.

Our roof is reshingled, so glad it is done! Now for gutters and windows, then we are done done!

He turned 15 last Monday, I can't believe it! He is an awesome kid and we love him!

The girls picked this out for Spencer, I am not sure if they were thinking of him or themselves.

The dab. Heber does it all the time but we haven't got a good pic of it.

We had Shania all week because Linda was in the hospital. The girls loved having her.

Spencer got a buck knife for his birthday! Hopefully he will be able to use it someday.

Brigham went in this pool to get goggles head first, smacked his tooth on the bottom.

Heber and the darling Tran baby that I somehow forgot her name, he was so cute telling her a story.
Our new baby is getting all her clothes, lucky girl.

Lucy won tickets to the Dallas Charge Professional fastpitch game, so us 3 braved the heat and went for a little while.  They were super fun to watch, we didn't stay long though. Lucy thought the field looked tiny.

Took Heber to the Doctor because of these scabs under his right arm, he had an ear infection and impetigo. Poor kid. Doing much better now.

Yesterday there was a rare moment, I looked over and these 4 were all drawing.

Friday was our 16th Anniversary, we got to go eat at Texas Roadhouse and go to the temple. It was a great night! The girls were cute and made us awesome cards. I will add rest later. So thankful for the amazing and crazy 16 years we have had together. So blessed!

These are old pictures from when Joe pulled out our tree and broke 2 lifetime shovels with his brute strength.

He was proud to use his engine hoist for the stump. Only 1 more week and then back to school!!! Yippee! It has been a fast and pretty fun summer. I only have 6.5 weeks left before we get to meet this little girl! Holy Cow!
