3 MONTHS OLD

 Spencer's Spanish assignment.

Lucy did this last week.

Happy 38th Birthday!

This is at the end of a very busy birthday--it was a fun day though!

Yummy cake Joe got me from Costco.

I got a new watch, very timely too--the girls broke mine earlier that day. Joe and the big boys went to a merit badge college for most of the day. Me and the rest of the kids went to Keller to visit our Texas cousins. We had fun with them. Joe and I went to dinner after we got back, I was really tired and ordered the wrong thing. But Joe loved his dinner! :) The kids made me cute cards, I will scan them in.  Lots of wishes on Facebook, wonderful friends, and great family have made this week special. Thankful for the amazing life I have had so far--excited for 38 more!

 Brothers...

Monday and Tuesday were ice days, but it snowed today. They went two hours late.

3 months old already! We love you Heber!!!

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus

The 10th International Art Contest is here, the theme is Tell Me the Stories of Jesus. The deadline is this week. President Dieter F. Utchdorf recently spoke of the instance where Christ told his apostles one of them would betray him. They responded by asking, "Lord, is it I?" That is the story I'm hoping my piece portrays.  https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2014/10/lord-is-it-i?lang=eng
Matthew 26:21–22

Charles Barton was the model for the pictures I took for this project. It is pastels-chalk and watercolor.

Cute Heber smiling at Lucy.

Joe started a new (2nd) job this week for a painting company. He gives bids, it is a huge blessing for us.  Our neighbors are great! The boys are selling flags (well the service of putting a flag in your yard on several holidays) to earn money for scout camp, they only have a few left and most of our immediate neighbors bought them. It will look really cool on our street on the 4th of July!

Happy Valentine's Day!

After school Valentine hair, it is a heart looking straight at back but I like how it looks from the side.
Lucy's box won Best overall. She was so excited! Their class parties were fun.

We had a nice day on Saturday. Joe took the oldest five to the batting cages and store. They came home with a card, teddy bear, balloon, box of chocolates, and flowers for me! Pretty fun, they each got to pick something. Oh and Joe picked out pens that I like for all of them to write in the card before they came in. :)  It was cute. Spencer had made me a card in Spanish class. It was cute too. I will add it soon hopefully!  Then we (and Heber) went to lunch to Kenny's burger joint, it was yummy and then walked around CROWDED Ikea. Interesting Valentine date but fun just the same. The weather was AMAZING--73 degrees. Perfect. I played 4-square with the kids and we walked around the block. And had cookies.

This is a model of the Wright brothers plane Spencer made for an assignment in school. It turned out really cool.

Someone already let the balloon go in the entry--way high where we can't reach it.

Some close ups of some of the flowers.

Today is President's Day and our Texas cousins came over and met Heber and then we went ice skating. Joe stayed home with the younger three. We had a great time! This is Naomi with him.

 Mary's version of a worm's view of a snowman.

Mary's first squared off project.  She's awesome!

Brigham did this old Book of Mormon as a gift for his 11 yr old Scout leader, Paul Blanch. It turned out really nice.
