Frances' broken wrist/Lucy Softball

Fun Relief Society birthday dinner!

Last Sunday night The Carrol's and our family hosted the Softball team dinner. We had smoked chicken, cream corn, coleslaw. The Carrols brought chips, drinks and yummy strawberry shortcake. The girls were only here 45 minutes but we had a fun night with the Carrol's! Their son is serving with Brigham so it is pretty cool!

These 3 cute kids just got baptized. The boy that baptized them just got baptized a few months ago.

Fun Birthday party that Marjorie got to go too.

Last Saturday was WARM! It was fun watching Lucy pitch awesome in the JV tourney. She did so great. They are still undefeated.

I got to go on a fun trail run Saturday morning with Michal and caught this awesome pic of her!

My cousins and Aunt Dorthy came to a paint night with their friends. It was fun having them here. Tiffany is down in front on the right. Dorthy is behind her looking at my kids to the side and Christy is right next to her mom Dorthy.

All of the following pictures are in the wrong order. So on Friday March 18th, the kids were home from school.  I made the huge mistake of mentioning out loud in front of Marjorie that the tumbling mat would slide super well down the stairs. I honestly have no idea why it came out of my mouth or why I didn't immediately say But oh don't try it! She was smart enough to not try it herself. She sent Heber down on it first. It was fun so they added Frances and Heber to it. The mat slid the 2 feet that the stairs are longer that it is and then it stopped and threw Heber and Frances off. Frannie came crying hard to me with a hurt wrist. We immediately iced it and I gave her ibuprofen. The next few days were busy, that is when I went to Grantsville with Sarah, Joe and Lucy were in St. George, we had Stake Conference, etc. As long as I kept her on ibuprofen and we kept is wrapped and still it was fine. By Tuesday I realized it was NOT improving. So I took her in and sure enough it was a bad fracture in radius and buckle fracture in ulna as well. She was an absolute trooper the whole time, obviously if she was pretty fine for 4 days without a cast. She didn't even need medicine once it was casted. It is on a slight angle so it has had to be x-rayed twice already and we go in again on Thursday. The new casts are waterproof though which is amazing!

The day we got it casted we made it to Lucy's bus right as they were leaving for Lucy to sign it. Natalie Jarvis the head coach wanted to sign it too! So cute!

My sweet friend Mindi Lima sent Frances this penguin (Mindi loves penguins) pillow on Amazon. She was excited to get it. She also insisted on ice cream since her arm was broken.

We pruned our fruit trees.

He pulled his other front tooth at school.

She has done ok with the attention that comes with a broken limb. At first she didn't want to go to school because she didn't want anyone to talk to her about it. She has had another round of some social anxiety. She has been more shy around family and friends than normal. But she ended up having fun and even let the "mean boy" in her class sign it. We all hope it is healing well!

St. Patrick's Day weekend

Mary got to compete in Tooele (for her Agriculture class) in Boutineirre making. She had fun and learned a lot!

Becky (Hansen) and I finally got to visit! So fun seeing her.

PT conferences were that day also, this is Sarah's stipling art project. So good!!

Mary made us green french toast and I made Irish Soda Bread that was kind of like a sweet biscuit.

Joe and Lucy were in St. George again with school Softball team. Lucy's JV team is still undefeated, the Varsity have lost 3 games already.

We moved Lucy into the Guest room downstairs, put the guest bed in Heber's room. Moved Sarah in with Mary and Frances clothes into her room that is just her and Marjorie now. Still working on the girls rooms but Lucy and Heber's are done.

On Saturday I got to take Sarah to Grantsville for 3 games. She pitched well and it was a good warm up to the season. Except it was freezing cold and so WINDY! Mary stayed home with littles for me, thankfully.

Brigham sketched this on his mission. He is doing so well.

Frances and Heber's drawings from Stake Conference. Frances' above, Heber's below.

Marjorie did the flower.

Lucy's new room.

Dirt from TX, I had forgotten about this darling gift from her Blaze team.

I painted this for our neighbor's birthday party that Marjorie just went to. It is her new bunny she is getting this week.

BBQ Fundraiser

Thankfully we still made enough money for Lucy's school season even though the prices of food went up a lot!

The cute activity day girls decorated my door, I moved them inside because the wind hits my door pretty bad sometimes!

Mary made these boutineires in her Ag Science class. She is competing in it today in Tooele. More pics to come.

Lucy made the Varsity/JV team at SFHS and games started last week! She started at pitch in the JV game and did awesome. She pitched the whole game. Her team hit 7 homers over the fence in the varsity game. So fun to watch! She had some hard hits but they were caught.

I had a big paint night here the night before the BBQ. It turned out really well.

Tylee, Tasia, Tiffany, Christie. (Tiffany's girls)

Spencer was a huge help with the BBQ

The new smoker worked so well and is a lot easier.

Frances landed her front flip but she couldn't do it when I was filming. Sarah was giving her a pep talk.

Marjorie and Frances made some bows.
